Assistant Producer Call Out
Callum Holt is looking for an Assistant Producer to assist him in supporting the artists he works with and the projects he manages. Callum is an independent producer based in Leeds but working nationally across the UK. He predominantly works in dance though is passionate about all live performance, and specialises in supporting artists in developing and delivering their projects. He is a friendly ear and prides himself on his ability to demystify the funding process and make the arts accessible to everyone.
The Assistant Producer will support Callum by assisting on creative projects that Callum is managing, with a particular focus on booking travel and accommodation, light budget management, and administration, and by acting as a PA for Callum, assisting in responding to e-mails and enquiries, and supporting Callum in managing his diary.
The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about supporting artists in creating new work and delivering their projects, and will be interested in pursuing a producing career in the future. They will not need to have experience in producing or project management as training will be provided.

Contract Type: Self-Employed/Freelance
Fee: £115 per day (you will be responsible for paying your own tax and National Insurance)
Hours: 1 day a week, but exact working pattern can be negotiable (e.g. it can be a fixed day every week, a few hours every day)
Location: Callum is based in Leeds but works across the country. The candidate will mostly work from home and will meet with Callum fortnightly in Leeds.

From these, he will shortlist applicants to invite to interview. If you are invited to interview, they will notify you no later than Mon 6th June. If you have not heard from him by this point, you will not have been shortlisted.
